Goldwind Australia is pleased to have partnered with Fly Fish Australia Incorporated as a Major Sponsor for the 39th FIPS-Mouche World Flying Fishing Championship. Goldwind Australia has constructed three wind farms with several to commence construction in 2018, including Cattle Hill Wind Farm. This major sponsorship is one of the local contributions from Goldwind’s Cattle Hill Wind Farm.
Goldwind’s mission is Preserving Blue Skies and White Clouds for the Future. Goldwind Australia has a strong focus on strengthening regional economies and supporting local jobs. Goldwind Australia aims to continue to actively share the benefits of the Cattle Hill Wind Farm project throughout the project lifecycle. The Cattle Hill Wind Farm will be located within the Central Highlands region of Tasmania, on the eastern shore of Lake Echo and adjacent to the Waddamana Substation and the Historical Waddamana Power Station.
Preparations are underway for construction of the wind farm to commence in coming months. The wind farm will consist of 48 turbines with approximately 150 jobs during construction and up to 10 permanent maintenance staff when fully operational.
